Pay & Financial Perks:

- Hourly Rate: $25.00-30.00 / hour (Regular active shifts)
- Overtime Rate: 1.5x regular pay after 50 hours/week
- Monthly Standby Retainer: $800.00 / month flat rate paid on the 15th of each month to guarantee your 24/7 on-call availability
- Minimum Call-Out Guarantee: Guaranteed minimum 3 hours pay
- Payroll: T4 Employee position (CPP, EI, and provincial income tax deducted)

About the Role

Topography Landscape Construction & Property Management Inc. is hiring an experienced and dedicated On-Call Winter Maintenance Snow Plow Operator/Driver & Crew Leader for the 2026–2027 winter season.

In this role, you will lead commercial snow-clearing operations on assigned routes. You’ll be provided with a company commercial vehicle to transport your assigned shovel crew and perform high-quality plowing and salting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Vehicle & Crew Transport: Secure operation of company vehicle to pick up hand-shovelling crew members from their home before a storm event, transport them to commercial sites with you, supervise their work, and return them safely after shifts.
- Commercial Service Execution: Perform snow clearing (plowing) and de-icing (salting) across assigned commercial properties, pick you materials and general maintenance and tidiness of vehicle.
- Detailed Logging & Reporting: Complete accurate service visit logs for every property, tracking arrival/departure times, weather conditions, services performed, and salt volumes used. Keep all receipts.
- Safety & Supervision:



Maintain strict adherence to workplace safety regulations and supervise on-site crew execution.

Job Requirements

- Valid Driver’s License: Valid Ontario Class "G" driver's license with a clean driving record (must physically carry card while operating vehicle).
- 24/7 Availability & Sobriety: Full commitment to 24/7 on-call availability during winter storm events with zero impairment tolerance.
- Safety & WHMIS Certification: Must pass a WHMIS 2015 safety test prior to dispatch.
- PPE Requirement: Must possess and wear CSA-approved high-visibility vest, CSA-approved steel-toe traction boots, safety glasses, and insulated gloves on all shifts.
- Zero Personal Use: Strict adherence to zero-personal-use rules for company commercial vehicles.
- Criminal Record Check: Must maintain a clear record.
