We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tandoor Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic tandoori dishes, ensuring high-quality food presentation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori dishes, including meats, vegetables, and Naan bread, + various Kebabs & Grills , following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage food preparation processes efficiently to meet customer demand while maintaining quality
- Operate tandoor ovens safely and effectively, ensuring proper temperature control and maintenance
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and plating to ensure consistent presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers, providing excellent food service experience

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles, especially with tandoori or Indian cuisine preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to the food industry
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Prior experience in serving customers in a rapid-paced restaurant environment is a plus
- Passion for culinary arts with a focus on authentic Indian cuisine and traditional cooking methods

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
