Retail Sales & Content Associate | D&P; Perfumum Canada Inc. | Toronto, ON

D&P; Perfumum Canada Inc. is launching its Canadian fragrance retail business, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Sales & Content Associate to join our team for the long term.

This is an in-person retail position based primarily at our store on Danforth Avenue & Playter Street in Toronto.

We are looking for someone who loves fragrance, enjoys connecting with customers, has a strong sales personality, and is comfortable creating engaging social media content while working in-store.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, helping customers discover fragrances that suit their preferences, driving sales, operating the retail store and helping build the D&P; Perfumum brand in Canada.

You will also create content for our social media channels, including photos, videos, short-form videos and behind-the-scenes content.

From time to time, you will represent D&P; Perfumum at trade shows, pop-ups, markets and other promotional events across the Greater Toronto Area and potentially elsewhere in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Sales

- Welcome and assist customers in-store.
- Provide knowledgeable and personalized fragrance recommendations.
- Help customers explore different fragrance collections and scent profiles.
- Demonstrate products and explain fragrance characteristics.
- Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Process purchases, returns and exchanges.
- Operate the POS system accurately.
- Maintain accurate cash/payment handling.
- Assist with inventory counts, merchandising and restocking.
- Maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing store.

Content Creation

- Create engaging Instagram, TikTok and other social media content.
- Take product photos and short-form videos.
- Create Reels, TikToks,



Stories and behind-the-scenes content.
- Capture customer-friendly in-store content and product demonstrations.
- Assist with product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to create organic content during everyday store operations.
- Work with the business team to develop content ideas and campaigns.

Events & Brand Representation

- Represent D&P; Perfumum at trade shows, pop-ups and promotional events.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown.
- Engage with customers and potential customers at events.
- Demonstrate products and generate sales and leads.
- Travel to different event locations as required.

Location & Mobility

Our primary retail location is Danforth Avenue & Playter Street in Toronto.

Proximity to the store is an asset, particularly for reliable commuting and scheduling.

However, this role also involves occasional travel to trade shows, pop-ups and other events, which may take place throughout Toronto, the GTA and potentially other locations.

Candidates must therefore be comfortable travelling to event locations when required.
