This is a part time home to home community visiting position covering Ottawa. Schedule is 3 weekdays, must be the same 3 weekdays each week PLUS alternate weekends both sat and sun. The 3 weekdays do need to include a monday or a friday. We have this position available for days 7am-3pm OR afternoons 3pm-11pm. You must choose 1 time frame and all booked days will be booked for that same time frame.

Requirements

RPN pay rate is $36/hr and RN pay rate is $44/hr

Must have an RPN diploma/RN degree with CNO registration in good standing

Neg TB test results from within last 12 months

Clear Vulnerable Sector Police clearance from within last 12 months

Valid CPR certificate





G or G2 drivers licence and a vehicle with insurance in your name

Responsibilities:

Wound care, IV start and maintenance, Gtube for meds/feeding, Catheter care, patient education and various other tasks as noted in the care plan.

Understand your role as a nurse and the Protection of Privacy Act, Personal Health Information Protection Act, Consent, etc.
Must be able to work independently with reliability and trustworthiness
Demonstrate a commitment to continued learning and professional growth
