Job Summary

The Montessori Toddler Teacher supports young children’s learning, development, and daily care in a nurturing classroom. Through attentive teaching and clear communication, you help children explore, build independence, and feel secure.

Responsibilities

- Guide age-appropriate learning and classroom routines, encouraging curiosity, participation, and growing independence.
- Provide attentive childcare, observe children’s needs, and adapt activities to support varied abilities.
- Communicate with families and colleagues, sharing relevant observations and maintaining transparent written records.
- Organize classroom materials and daily tasks, using basic computer tools for routine documentation.

Qualifications

Required: Practical teaching, childcare, communication, organization,



and time-management skills support safe, engaging classroom routines; basic computer operation and writing skills help with documentation and coordination. Preferred: Experience working with children, classroom experience, early childhood education, or special education is valuable, as is experience working with individuals with disabilities. English and French language skills, bilingual communication, and leadership strengths can further support children, families, and colleagues.

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
