Job Summary

Premier Electrical Contractors Inc. is looking for a skilled, dependable 309A Licensed Service Electrician to join our growing team.

We are an established electrical contractor servicing commercial, industrial, and institutional clients throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

We are looking for electricians who take pride in their trade, can think independently, and understand the importance of quality workmanship and customer service.

This is not a position for someone who needs to be constantly supervised. We need someone who can arrive at a job, assess the situation, identify the problem, and get the work done properly.

Responsibilities

- Perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and maintenance.
- Diagnose electrical problems and develop practical, safe solutions.
- Work independently on commercial, industrial, and service calls.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and other trades.
- Complete service documentation and report deficiencies accurately.
- Maintain an organized, skilled company service truck.
- Take responsibility for completing assigned work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Assist and mentor apprentices when required.

What We're Looking For

- Valid Ontario 309A Electrician Licence.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.




- Ability to work independently without constant direction.
- Commercial and industrial electrical experience.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence with an acceptable driving record.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Someone who takes ownership of their work and represents the company well.

Experience with fire alarm systems, motor controls, PLCs, generators, and industrial equipment is an asset, but not mandatory. We understand that even experienced electricians have different strengths.
