Our employment partner is a hotel establishment located in downtown Toronto. This position is for a Room Attendant. The main duties include cleaning guest rooms and/or other assigned areas in a timely and thorough manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Job Duties

- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine workplace
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms in accordance with hotel standards
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely resolution
- Follow safety and sanitation policies to uphold health standards
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens regularly
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including sorting, washing, and folding linens
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and stored safely after use

Health and Safety

- · Follow safe work procedures outlined in departmental policies and procedures,



including the use of personal protective equipment.
- · Know and comply with all occupational health and safety regulations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ministry of Labour requirements.
- · Report all injuries or illnesses to a supervisor or manager immediately.
- · Bring health and safety concerns or issues to the attention of the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Housekeeping experience either in hotels or any other industry
- Friendly and hospitality focused
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Organizational skills
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Teamwork
- Problem solving

Compensation

$25.13/hour
