About us
Szechuan Paramount (Chappelle) is an Chinese quick service restaurant. We’re looking for a reliable kitchen helper to join our team and keep our prep line running smoothly.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and portion fried items for service (batter, breading, and frying)
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables to our size and quality standards
- Wrap and prepare other made-to-order items
- Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked
- Follow food safety and sanitation rules, including handwashing, storage, labeling, and surface cleaning
- Help with dishes, general kitchen cleaning, and receiving or putting away deliveries
- Support the cooks during busy periods, including catering orders
What we’re looking for
- Previous kitchen or food prep experience (preferred)
- Deep fryer experience (preferred)
- Ability to work quickly, safely,
and consistently in a hot, fast-paced kitchen
- Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player
- Willingness to learn. We’ll train the right person.
- Food Handling Certificate is an asset
- English/ Cantonese and/or Mandarin (preferred)
What we offer
- Wage: Starting at $16/hour
- Hours: Full time, Tuesday through Sunday

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48.0 per week
