You will secure an efficient supply of parts serving customers across the Pulp, Energy & Circularity, Packaging, and Tissue sectors. Through strategic supplier management and footprint optimization, you will contribute to transforming the supply chain, enhancing cost-efficiency, and strengthening the competitiveness of Valmet's procurement function.
Execute procurement activities for assigned categories and suppliers, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Lead annual price negotiations and maintain pricing and item data in ERP and related systems.
Define and implement supply strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including supplier quality and logistics.




Drive long-term cost reduction initiatives and support CCC sourcing.
Develop and manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance in areas such as delivery reliability, quality, innovation, and lead times.
Support sales and cost estimation with sourcing insightsMonitor and ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and contractual standards.
Oversee inventory levels to support healthy net working capital and operational efficiency.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.2
- 5 years' experience in Category Management or Sourcing in the industrial sector in international organizations.
Solid knowledge of MS Office environment.
Fluent in English.
