Working closely with the Rebuyer team to manage min and max levels of inventory, the Category Manager is a key business role. Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers. Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities. Responsible for category management and product life cycle from purchase to point of sale. Respond to sales staff regarding customer queries about products and or opportunities. Work closely with key customers to uncover issues and concerns as well as potential market gains. Manage inventory levels and prepare exit strategies where applicable. Coordinate with Rebuyers to manage min and max levels of inventory. Market and advertise category products. Stay updated on industry trends and market competitors. Post-Secondary education in Supply Chain Management/Business or related field is an asset. A broad understanding of building supplies is essential; proven record of executing projects over the finish line. Robust ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions at all levels.
