Hatch is seeking a Senior Civil Structural Engineer in Sudbury to deliver engineering calculations, specifications, and reports for mining projects.
As part of Hatch’s Project Delivery Group, you will provide structural engineering services across large and small mining projects. The work includes concrete foundations, structural steel, industrial structures, and underground mining areas. You will report to the Lead Structural Engineer, Project Manager, or Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Support project scope, cost, schedule, and delivery requirementsPromote safety, integrity, and engineering standardsPrepare technical specifications, memos,



and engineering reportsProvide input to capital and engineering cost estimatesSupervise designers and junior engineering personnelRequirements:
Degree in civil or structural engineeringProfessional engineer or candidate qualified engineer registrationSeven-plus years of project engineering experienceStrong planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of engineering codes and technical standardsBring civil structural engineering leadership, technical documentation, and mining project experience to Hatch’s Sudbury engineering team.
