Job Summary:

The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs and materials for both technical and non-technical users. This role focuses on creating engaging e-learning content, facilitating live training sessions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.

Responsibilities:

- Provide application and product training to diverse audiences including technical and non-technical users.
- Develop, design, and deliver training materials and e-learning courses using contemporary authoring tools.
- Convert and redevelop legacy training assets into updated digital learning formats.
- Facilitate live training sessions both in-person and online via webinars or teleconferences.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather training requirements and feedback.
- Create training plans and documentation aligned with business needs and adult learning principles.
- Manage multiple training development projects ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Apply accessibility standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations including AODA.

Required Skills:
- Proficiency with e-learning development tools such as Adobe Captivate Classic and Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
- Experience designing and delivering technical and non-technical training materials and sessions.
- Strong instructional design and analytical skills to improve learner engagement and content effectiveness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative team environment.




- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning publishing standards.
- In-depth understanding of accessibility standards including AODA compliance.
- Experience with screen capture and image editing software for training content creation.

Desired Skills:
- Experience converting legacy e-learning assets from Adobe Captivate to modern platforms.
- Familiarity with LearnON deployment processes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills.
- Experience supporting quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
- Portfolio demonstrating e-learning course development and instructional design expertise.

- Strong organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
