Job Summary

The Automotive Mechanic / Automotive Dismantler inspects, dismantles vehicles, using mechanical knowledge and appropriate hand and power tools. The role involves careful, organized work to identify usable components, and handle parts responsibly.

Responsibilities

- Perform dismantling tasks using hand tools and power tools, following safe work practices and handling components carefully.
- Remove, sort, and organize reusable parts, and keep tools and work areas orderly.
- Coordinate with colleagues on vehicle condition and parts needs. Your impact: accurate inspections and organized components help the team complete repair work efficiently.

Experience

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge and the ability to use hand tools and power tools safely are significant for completing inspection and dismantling tasks. Careful handling, attention to detail, and an organized approach support accurate work and responsible parts sorting. Preferred: Related experience as an automotive mechanic or automotive dismantler, familiarity with vehicle components, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues are advantageous.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
