Overview

The Punjabi Speaking Home Support Worker provides respectful, practical support to people in their homes. The role includes assisting with daily care, household tasks, meals, and medication administration while communicating in Punjabi to support clear, comfortable interactions.

Responsibilities

- Provide patient care, senior care, and home care, adapting support to each person’s needs and routines.
- Assist with caregiving tasks, including dementia care, hospice care, and support for individuals with disabilities.
- Prepare meals, complete light cleaning, and assist with safe movement and heavy lifting as needed.
- Support medication administration in accordance with established care plans and procedures.

Skills

Required:



Punjabi communication, patience, attentive caregiving, and the ability to assist with personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, and secure movement are practical capabilities for this role. Preferred: Assisted living, nursing home, nursing, patient care, senior care, hospice care, dementia care, disability support, home care, and medication administration experience can strengthen your contribution.
