Summary

We are looking for a skilled Red Seal Millwright to join our team. You will be responsible for keeping our CNC machines and production equipment running at their best through installation, alignment, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance. This role is ideal for an experienced, hands-on tradesperson who takes pride in solving mechanical problems quickly and correctly. You'll also work closely with our engineering and production teams to reduce downtime, improve machine performance, and support a protected, efficient manufacturing floor.

Key Accountabilities:

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and other automated equipment.
- Install, assemble, and align CNC machines and mechanical components.
- Analyze mechanical and electrical issues, diagnosing problems and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems, bearings, pumps, conveyors, and other machinery.




- Perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules.
- Ensure that all machinery is properly calibrated and functioning to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to improve machine performance and resolve operational issues.

Requirements:

- Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience with machine installation, leveling, and alignment.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to work from heights.
- Valid driver’s licence and own tools preferred.

- Experience working with specific CNC systems (for example, Haas, OKUMA, FANUC)

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
