Evergreen Child Care, a licensed child care center located in SW Calgary, is currently seeking On-Call Early Childhood Educators to join our warm and collaborative team. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about early learning and are available to provide occasional coverage when regular staff are away.

Position: On-Call Early Childhood Educator
Location: 167 Evermeadow Ave SW, Calgary, AB
Availability: Must be available to work full-day shifts (8 hours per day). Ongoing availability for occasional on-call shifts to cover staff illness, vacation, and other absences is also required.

Responsibilities

- Support daily routines, activities, and transitions for children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment




- Follow program plans and routines created by the lead educators
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with children, families, and staff

Qualifications:

- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1 minimum required; Level 2 or 3 an asset)
- Current Child Care First Aid & CPR
- Recent Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to current environments
- A warm and caring approach to working with young children

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.64-$27.62 per hour
