Warehouse Associate - Maintenance/Shipper/Receiver

Our client is a dynamic and growing distribution company based in the Waterloo region, dedicated to providing productive logistics and supply chain solutions. They operate a fast-paced warehouse environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are essential to maintaining smooth daily operations.

Our client is currently looking for a Shipper/Receiver to support their warehouse operations by ensuring equipment reliability and managing the flow of incoming and outgoing goods.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and pallet jacks.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect goods for damage.
- Prepare and pack outgoing orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, maintenance activities, and shipping logs.
- Label and tag products correctly for storage and distribution.




- Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and organization.

Qualifications

- Experience in a maintenance, shipping, or receiving role within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and documentation.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols, including inventory control and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, shipping labels, and inventory lists.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and operate material-handling equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
