A top employer is looking for a
Senior QA Analyst
to lead end to end testing on medium to large initiatives and help deliver reliable, high quality releases. This is a contract chance in
Edmonton, AB
with a hands on focus across planning, execution, defect management, and UAT. If you thrive on finding issues before customers do and improving delivery confidence, this role is built for you.
Responsibilities
Build and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Perform functional, integration, regression, end to end, and UAT testing
Lead defect identification, triage, tracking, validation, and root cause analysis
Validate data using SQL and support reconciliation activities
Test APIs and interfaces using Postman or equivalent tools
Partner with BAs, Developers, PMs, and business stakeholders to ensure full requirements coverage
Coordinate and facilitate UAT activities and readiness
Provide testing status, risks, quality metrics, and recommendations
Support releases, deployments, and post implementation validation
Qualifications
10+ years
of Quality Assurance experience with proven delivery of end to end testing on medium to large projects
Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles in
Agile and or Waterfall
environments
Hands on experience with functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing plus test planning and execution




Strong defect management skills including triage, tracking, and root cause analysis
Experience with
requirements traceability
and test coverage management
SQL
and database validation experience (SQL Server and or Oracle preferred)
API testing
experience using Postman or similar tools
Experience with
Jira XRay and or Azure DevOps
and familiarity with
ServiceNow
Bonus: experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services;
exposure to automation frameworks or performance testing;
experience as a sole QAresource on enterprise projects
Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
