Our team is currently looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver for our Granby site. We are looking for a candidate who can easily adapt to change and is ready to take on current challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily truck inspections;
- Follow the schedule and routes provided by the supervisor;
- Pick up and deliver ferrous and non-ferrous metals in accordance with applicable safety standards;
- Complete all required transportation documentation;
- Perform basic truck maintenance;
- Ensure customer satisfaction;
- Operate the vehicle safely and efficiently;
- Conduct pre-trip inspections before hitting the road;
- Ensure that all safety standards established by law and by the employer are followed at all times;
- Regularly operate different types of heavy vehicles;
- Move and clean our trailers.
