Advance electrical design solutions at Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls division, using power distribution expertise and hands-on troubleshooting. Travel across North America as required. This Electrical Engineering Specialist provides advanced technical support across the Electrical Engineering Department. You will resolve complex design issues, technical escalations, and production problems while supporting research, development, testing, and evaluation. The work also improves standards, practices, and consistency through technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities
- Resolve complex escalations, production issues, and root-cause investigations
- Support challenging electrical design issues across engineering teams
- Lead prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and product-development activities
- Develop electrical standards, guidelines, tools,



and test methods
- Mentor engineers and designers across the department

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma
- Minimum 15 years’ electrical design and field-installation experience
- Knowledge of power distribution, motor controls, VFDs, and control panels
- Ability to interpret schematics, specifications, test data, and documentation
