Provide clinical nursing care in person at Health Sciences Centre’s Labour and Delivery 2 unit in Winnipeg with Shared Health. Apply critical thinking and prioritization skills. This General Duty Nurse position supports Women’s Health Labour and Delivery within Shared Health. Previous Labour and Delivery experience is preferred, while reproductive health knowledge is required. The work includes communication, independent practice, teamwork, and adapting to changing clinical demands.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care related to the clinical area
- Prioritize care for individual or groups of patients
- Respond to simultaneous demands and changing situations
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members




- Maintain concentration while managing frequent interruptions

Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Previous Labour and Delivery experience preferred
- Maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- Meet employer Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training requirements
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills Use Registered Nursing expertise, reproductive health knowledge, and clinical judgment in Shared Health’s Labour and Delivery unit.
