Lead dam safety engineering across Canada with AtkinsRéalis, applying risk assessment and regulatory expertise to critical infrastructure. This experienced role supports nationwide safety. As a Dam Safety Expert, you will provide technical leadership for dam infrastructure assessment, management, and long-term safety. You will lead Dam Safety Reviews, advise clients on compliance and risk management, and guide safety improvements. Multidisciplinary collaboration with clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders is central to the work.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Dam Safety Reviews for dams and hydraulic structures
- Provide guidance on surveillance, operations, maintenance, and rehabilitation
- Assess risks and recommend mitigation and capital investments
- Review technical reports, assessments,



and regulatory submissions
- Coordinate teams and engage owners, regulators, and communities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil, geotechnical, geological, or water resources engineering
- Skilled Engineer designation with Canadian jurisdictional eligibility
- At least 15 years' dam engineering and safety experience
- Dam Safety Review and multidisciplinary team leadership experience
