Support OCRE cloud operations in Toronto with ECS Fargate, Docker, AWS networking, and hybrid infrastructure responsibilities. This senior contract assignment focuses on operating and troubleshooting AWS platforms supporting the Ontario Clinical Report Exchange. You will deploy ECS services, manage containers and Auto Scaling groups, and maintain VPC connectivity for workloads and dependent services. The role also includes serverless frontend infrastructure using S3, CloudFront, and WAF.

Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and troubleshoot ECS Fargate services, tasks, load balancers, and logs
- Manage Docker images, ECR integration, secrets, health checks, and scaling
- Maintain VPC subnets, routes, NAT gateways, endpoints, DNS, and security groups
- Operate CloudFront, S3, WAF, certificates, cache policies, and DNS




- Manage EC2 launch templates, Auto Scaling groups, and recovery procedures

Requirements:
- Solid ECS Fargate, Docker, ECR, and container troubleshooting experience
- Strong AWS networking and security troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Glue job private connectivity and ENI creation
- Experience with EC2 Auto Scaling, launch templates, and health policies
- Experience with GitHub Actions and JavaScript or Python AWS CDK Use container operations, AWS networking, and platform troubleshooting skills to maintain reliable OCRE infrastructure in Toronto.
