Build trusted relationships with Indigenous entrepreneurs as a Senior Advisor at BDC, using communication, financial analysis, and community knowledge. BDC seeks a Senior Advisor, Indigenous Entrepreneurship to reinforce relationships with Indigenous communities in specific regions. Reporting to the Inclusive Entrepreneurship team, you will guide entrepreneurs and partners toward appropriate BDC channels and resources. Your expertise will support economic empowerment, tailored solutions, and deeper understanding of community needs. The role connects relationship building, business development, and internal education across BDC.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Indigenous entrepreneurs in achieving their ambitions
- Develop relationships with organizations across the entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Refer businesses to appropriate BDC offerings and contacts




- Collaborate with account managers on entrepreneur support opportunities
- Share Indigenous community knowledge across BDC teams

Requirements:
- More than five years’ relevant financial institution experience
- Robust relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
- Understanding of barriers facing Indigenous entrepreneurs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Self-identified Indigenous individual with English and French fluency Bring relationship building, financial analysis, and Indigenous community expertise to support entrepreneurs through BDC’s national network.
