Health and Safety Advisor supporting occupational safety and emergency management strategies in Cold Lake, Alberta, with Operations and field teams. Help monitor programs, investigate incidents, and strengthen secure work practices. Strathcona Resources Ltd. is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for its Cold Lake team. This role works closely with Operations on occupational health, operational safety, hazardous materials programs, inspections, investigations, and recommendations. The advisor also supports the Health and Safety Management System, emergency response planning, communications, and regulatory interactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Health and Safety Management System inputs
- Maintain and evaluate the management system regularly




- Mentor and coach front-line staff on system functionality
- Support emergency response plans and exercises
- Respond to incidents, investigate findings, and prepare reports

Requirements:
- Experience in upstream oil and gas operations
- Five to ten years of safety-related industry experience
- Process safety experience is considered relevant
- Occupational safety experience is considered relevant
- CRSP designation or OHS certification considered an asset Bring upstream oil and gas experience, safety expertise, and emergency management knowledge to Strathcona Resources Ltd. in Cold Lake.
