Foreign exchange markets expertise anchors this full-time, in office Associate role at CIBC in Toronto, supporting institutional clients and transaction execution. Within the Financial Solutions Group, you will support institutional FX sales and trading. The work combines client relationship management, market analysis, trade execution support, and cross-functional coordination. You will help deliver spot, forward, swap, and hedging-related solutions aligned with client objectives and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build institutional client relationships through outreach, meetings, presentations, and tailored FX ideas
- Support FX sales, marketers, and traders with solution delivery and execution
- Monitor market activity, macroeconomic developments, pricing, risk, and liquidity
- Coordinate transaction delivery with CIBC partner teams
- Support cash,
derivative operations, settlement, and process improvements
Requirements:
- Approximately three years in capital markets, FX, sales and trading, or related services
- Experience supporting institutional client relationships and responsive service
- Knowledge of FX products, market structure, execution, and client solutioning
- Degree or diploma in Economics, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related field
- Ability to analyze complex information and communicate commercial insights clearly Apply institutional client coverage, FX product knowledge, market analysis, and execution support within CIBC’s Toronto Global Markets team.
