Operate Lonsdale Energy’s district energy system in North Vancouver using SCADA, BMS, and advanced troubleshooting expertise. Provide technical leadership across facilities. As Senior System Operator, you will oversee safe, reliable, and effective district energy operations. You will guide System Operators, coordinate maintenance and commissioning, and support compliance, emergency response, and optimization. The position requires advanced knowledge of central plant operations, hydronic systems, controls, and energy transfer processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate boilers, heat pumps, chillers, pumps, and thermal storage
- Monitor SCADA and BMS systems, alarms, faults, and performance
- Coordinate operations across facilities and distribution assets
- Guide operators, assign priorities, and support competency development




- Coordinate shutdowns, outages, maintenance, and commissioning activities

Requirements:
- Five to eight years of progressively responsible operations experience
- District energy, utility, central plant, or industrial operations background
- Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related credential
- Third
- or Fourth-Class Power Engineering Certificate or equivalent
- Valid British Columbia Driver’s License Bring district energy operations, technical oversight, SCADA knowledge, and troubleshooting skills to Lonsdale Energy’s North Vancouver system.
