Production troubleshooting and observability define this experienced Site Reliability Engineer role with Porter in Toronto’s Downtown Office. You will improve reliability, scalability, and performance through code, monitoring, and operational tooling. The role partners with developers and cross-functional teams on application support, root cause analysis, incident response, and service health. Porter’s platform supports thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze application performance and resolve bottlenecks
- Build service health dashboards, alerts, and metrics
- Design workflows for certificate and host monitoring
- Investigate Sev1-level incidents and deploy preventative fixes
- Champion SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets

Requirements:
- Production troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
- Application Performance Monitoring experience
- Solid object-oriented software development experience
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar Use observability, application performance, automation, and software engineering skills to strengthen Porter’s production platform reliability.
