Shape commercial programs underwriting at WSI, combining portfolio analysis, delegated authority, and operational leadership in hybrid North York. This manager leads the Programs division’s underwriting, portfolio management, reinsurance coordination, and operations. The position protects approved appetite, pricing, coverage, capacity, and authority requirements while supporting sustainable, profitable performance. WSI serves complex Canadian organizational risks through specialty insurance.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop program guidelines, authorities, referrals, and controls
- Analyze premium, rate, exposure, retention, growth, and claims trends
- Monitor CAT modeling concentrations and accumulations
- Assess prospective MGAs and Program Administrators




- Support partner reviews and Contingent Profit Commission arrangements

Requirements:
- Commercial underwriting experience with MGAs or delegated authority
- Experience managing underwriting authority and commercial portfolios
- Knowledge of facultative and treaty reinsurance
- Team leadership experience across underwriting and operations
- Canadian Programs, Affinity, Fronting, or Specialty experience preferred Use underwriting judgment, portfolio analytics, and partner expertise to guide WSI’s commercial Programs business and operational performance.
