ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY NL Health Services – Western Zone invites applications for a permanent full-time Fee-For-Service Dermatologist at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of dermatology care to the Western region. Physicians are responsible for their own billings to the Medical Care Plan (MCP). Western Memorial Regional Hospital is a newly constructed, state-of-the-art acute care facility that opened in June 2024. The hospital serves as a 164-bed regional referral centre for Western Newfoundland, delivering a broad range of secondary and select tertiary services to a population of approximately 80,000 residents.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Dermatology (or eligible)
- Eligible for licensure as a Dermatologist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador ( www.cpsnl.ca )
- Must satisfy credentialing requirements of NL Health Services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive dermatology care to patients across the Western region
- Deliver consultations to referring physicians and teams
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
- Support person
- and family-centered care; promote patient and worker safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements REMUNERATION Remuneration is Fee-For-Service in accordance with the Medical Care Plan (MCP) Fee Schedule. Physicians are responsible for their own billings to MCP. An annual Retention Bonus is offered in accordance with the current Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Available Incentives:
