We're looking for a 2D character artist for a historical interactive drama video game in a (digitally) hand-painted art style.
We have an existing art style created for our workplace assets, roughly inspired by 19th century romantic art. We're looking for character art that can fit within our visual style, in a way that remains accessible to a general audience.
Tasks
- Create character concept art for use in developing 3D character models.
- Create portraits as assets used in-game.
Note: This is funded out of pocket for the moment (currently developing a vertical slice to greenlight production), so the contract will be per-deliverable, rather than hourly.
