Apprentice Millwright (Industrial Mechanic)

Hydro Scotford Inc. is looking for a mechanically inclined 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Millwright to join our Pump Repair & Rotating Equipment team in Fort Saskatchewan.

This role is ideal for an apprentice who wants hands-on experience working with industrial pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, mechanical seals, and rotating equipment while learning from experienced tradespeople in a specialized repair shop environment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild industrial pumps and rotating equipment.
- Install bearings and mechanical seals.
- Assist with equipment alignment and testing.
- Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers.
- Complete inspection reports and repair documentation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work workplace.

What We're Looking For

- Registered Apprentice Millwright (2nd or 3rd Year preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, fabrication, machining, or repair environment is considered an asset.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
