We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Articling Student to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to a wide range of cases under the guidance of experienced lawyers.

The Articling Program The articling program is designed to provide a well-rounded, "hands-on" experience. Unlike larger "Big Law" firms where students might be siloed, our students work directly with Lawyers across various practice groups. You will be integrated into the firm’s daily operations, gaining exposure to various files and diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

- Legal Research & Writing: Conducting in-depth research and drafting legal memoranda.
- Drafting: Preparing pleadings, motion materials, affidavits, mediation memos, & agreements.
- Litigation Support: Assisting with discoveries, attending hearings, and potentially appearing before the Court.
- Solicitor Work:



Possibly assisting in the closing of real estate and corporate transactions.
- Client Interaction: Participating in initial consultations and maintaining ongoing client communication.

Requirements

- Education: Completion of a JD or LLB from a recognized law school.
- LSO Eligibility: Must be eligible to commence the Articling Program as per the Law Society of Ontario requirements.
- Skills: Demonstrable analytical skills, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
