About the Chance

We are seeking experienced Crew Leads and Supervisors to support a variety of environmental remediation projects throughout Alberta. These opportunities are primarily focused on commercial projects, with additional work across residential and industrial environments.

We are looking for hands-on leaders with experience in asbestos abatement, mould remediation and other hazardous material removal or environmental remediation activities. Successful candidates will play an important role in coordinating crews, overseeing site activities, maintaining safety standards and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise and coordinate daily remediation and abatement activities.
- Oversee crews performing asbestos abatement, mould remediation and other environmental remediation work.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable Alberta Occupational Health and Safety requirements and environmental regulations.
- Establish and maintain appropriate containment areas, negative air systems and decontamination procedures.
- Ensure workers follow proper PPE, respiratory protection and safe work procedures.
- Conduct site orientations, toolbox meetings and ongoing safety monitoring.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and daily work schedules.
- Monitor work quality, productivity and project progress.
- Communicate with project managers, clients,



consultants and other contractors.
- Complete daily reports, safety documentation, site records and required project paperwork.
- Identify and address site concerns, safety issues and operational challenges.
- Ensure proper handling, packaging, transportation and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in environmental remediation, asbestos abatement, mould remediation or hazardous material removal.
- Experience leading crews or supervising remediation projects.
- Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures, mould remediation practices and containment requirements.
- Understanding of negative air systems, decontamination procedures and exposure controls.
- Knowledge of applicable Alberta OHS requirements and safe work practices.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate workers, equipment and multiple site activities.
- Ability to work in commercial, residential and/or industrial environments.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project locations as required.
- Current safety training and certifications relevant to the work being performed.

- Manage crews, schedules, resources and project execution.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance, documentation, quality and safety requirements are met.

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
