Maxfield is a progressive, experienced and leading manufacturer well known for its high-quality products. This includes design, engineering, fabrication, packaging and servicing a range of pressure vessels, pipe spooling, structural skids and cargo transports. Maxfield also services the truck and transport, natural resources (oil and natural gas, and mining), propane distribution and marketing, power generation and cryogenic industries across Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Inspect, calibrate and certify NH3 and LPG meters at customer locations on transport delivery and storage vessels, using an electronic computerized reference prover system
- Perform volumetric test measures, meter analysis, repairs and maintenance
- Perform annual inspections of transport delivery units in compliance with Transport Canada requirements
- Assemble, install and service electrical wiring, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Pipefitting and inspections related to transport and storage pressure vessels
- Complete documents pertaining to the inspection program, including daily data entry and file transfers




- Maintain equipment and vehicles
- Field service work, including travel throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba as required

Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license (driver’s abstract required)
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience
- Knowledgeable about electrical wiring installations, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Own mechanics tools
- Willingness to learn current skills in pipefitting, meter calibration and pressure vessel inspection

Considered an Asset:

- Certification as a Measurement Canada ASP
- 2+ years of field experience in calibration and repair of Endress+Hauser and Liquid Controls meters
- 3+ years in repairs and maintenance, including performing Transport Canada B620 inspections
- Experience with NH3 and LPG equipment
- Pressure pipefitting/plumbing experience
- Valid Overhead Crane, Forklift, Fall Protection and First Aid training

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
