Turtle Bay IDA Pharmacy is looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Full-Time Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a hands-on leader who is passionate about exceptional customer service, team development, and creating a positive and welcoming store environment. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail setting.

Working closely with the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will help oversee daily retail operations, support and motivate employees, maintain excellent merchandising standards, and ensure our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience.

The Opportunity

As Assistant Store Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the retail department. You will help lead, coach, and develop team members while ensuring operational standards, sales goals, inventory management, and customer service expectations are consistently met.

You will also assist in overseeing store operations and providing leadership in the Store Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Store Manager with overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an efficient workflow.
- Lead by example and provide hands-on support, guidance, and direction to team members.
- Help motivate and develop employees to achieve store goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Support sales initiatives and strategies to help meet or exceed store targets.
- Assist with recruiting, training,



coaching, and developing employees.
- Help coordinate employee schedules and daily staffing requirements.
- Communicate store goals, expectations, and operational updates to the team.
- Assist with inventory purchasing, receiving, pricing, merchandising, and inventory control.
- Maintain attractive product displays and high standards of store presentation.
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering procedures, and daily cash reconciliation as required.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, returns, inventory management, and reporting.
- Assist with payroll, bookkeeping, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed.
- Help resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Assume additional management responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail supervisory or management experience.
- Strong understanding of retail sales, merchandising, inventory management, and store operations.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the confidence to motivate, coach, and support a team.
- Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and make sound decisions.




- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
- Experience with scheduling, payroll, or bookkeeping is an asset.
- Strong sales, marketing, and negotiation skills are an asset.
- Open and flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Experience Previous experience in a drugstore or pharmacy retail environment is preferred.
