Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation &

- Industrial Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems, with a heavy emphasis on automation, control systems, PLCs, and frequency drives (VFDs). The ideal candidate must be comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments, ensuring our industrial operations run safely and at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Automation &
- Controls:

Troubleshoot, program, and maintain automated machinery and advanced control systems.

- PLC &

- VFD Management:

Diagnose and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and variable frequency drives (VFDs / frequency drums).

- Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and emergency repairs on industrial electrical equipment.

- Outdoor &

- High-Elevation Work:

Safely operate on outdoor equipment, including tower cranes at significant heights.

- Blueprints &

- Schematics:

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and automation flowcharts to isolate system faults.





- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA, National Electrical Code (NEC), and local safety regulations.

Required Qualifications &

- Experience

- Certification: Valid Electrician License / Journeyman Card (e.g., Red Seal, Journeyman Industrial Electrician, or regional equivalent).

- Automation Background: Proven experience working in an industrial automation environment.

- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with control systems, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), and frequency drums/drives.

- Physical Adaptability: Comfort and capability working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights

- Problem-Solving: Robust diagnostic skills for tracing complex electrical faults in automated networks.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).

- WHMIS / Working at Heights certification.

Pay: $47.00-$57.00 per hour
