B Pressure Welder: Full-time, Calgary (SE)
Foothills Steel Foundry is hiring an ABSA B Pressure welder for our shop at 9390 114 Ave SE. It’s steady, full time, on-site work with a foundry that’s been in Calgary since 1947.
What we offer
- $40.00 min/hr, depending on experience
- Mon–Fri, 7:00–3:30, with overtime available

- Steady, varied work: pressure piping and spools, custom alloy and petrochemical castings, plus manganese and high-chrome wear parts for mining and aggregate customers
What you’ll do
- Weld pressure and structural components to code and to the drawing
- Read blueprints and weld symbols, then prep, fit and set up your own work
- Inspect your welds and work with our QC and production teams
- Help out across the shop during slower welding periods
What you need
- Valid ABSA B Pressure ticket and Alberta Journeyperson Welder certificate
- Experience in heavy fabrication, pressure work or a foundry
- Experience welding manganese or high-chrome white iron is a bonus. We’ll train the right person.
- Safe work habits and good attention to detail
