Position Summary

- The Barista & Tea Specialist supports daily café service by preparing specialty coffee and tea beverages, maintaining quality and consistency, and delivering warm, attentive guest experiences.
- This role goes beyond traditional espresso service. Team members will prepare specialty beverages following established SOPs, including cream coffees and signature drinks, while contributing creativity and thoughtful service to the café environment.

- This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the craft and hospitality aspects of café work and is interested in developing skills in specialty coffee and tea service.
- Morning, daytime, or weekend shifts may be required based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities · Prepare espresso beverages with consistency and quality

· Texture milk and pour latte art

· Prepare loose leaf tea and matcha beverages with proper technique





· Follow SOPs to prepare specialty drinks including cream coffees and signature beverages

· Maintain beverage quality, workflow efficiency, and station organization

· Provide warm, attentive, and professional customer service

· Support front-of-house operations and maintain a welcoming café environment

· Keep workstations clean and organized

· Always follow food safety and sanitation procedures

· Assist team members and support daily café operations as needed

Qualifications

· Experience as a barista or in a café environment preferred

· Interest in tea and willingness to learn proper tea preparation

· Ability to follow systems and recipes with precision and consistency

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Good organization and time management skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
