Goldie’s Donuts & Bakery is opening its doors at Park Royal in West Vancouver this December, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and passionate Baristas to join our opening team!

We believe great coffee and delicious donuts go hand in hand with genuine hospitality. As a Barista at Goldie’s, you’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere, prepare quality beverages, and make every customer’s visit a little more special.

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other drinks according to our recipes and standards.
- Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
- Welcome customers, take orders, and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Recommend beverages and bakery products to enhance the customer experience.
- Serve and package donuts, baked goods, and other menu items as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, counters, and customer areas.
- Monitor coffee supplies, milk, syrups, cups, and other ingredients, and assist with restocking.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and beverage preparation standards.
- Opening and closing duties, cash handling, and daily operations.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous barista or café experience is preferred.




- Experience preparing espresso-based beverages and operating commercial coffee equipment is an asset.
- A friendly, positive personality and a genuine passion for customer service.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining beverage quality.
- A reliable team player who takes initiative and enjoys helping others.
- Willingness to learn, follow recipes, and maintain consistent standards.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the schedule.
- Food Safe certification is an asset.
