Role: Business Analyst / Project Manager with Capital Market

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM) with strong expertise in Banking & Financial Services, Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, Consent Order Remediation, and Data Migration . The role requires a strong combination of business analysis, data analysis, regulatory knowledge, and end-to-end project management capabilities.

Mandatory experience in Capital markets

Business Analysis & Regulatory Compliance

- Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Lead workshops with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Regulatory Operations teams to capture end-to-end business requirements for regulatory reporting, including FR Y-9C, Call Reports, CCAR, and local regulatory filings .
- Consent Order Remediation Support: Drive data governance and data quality remediation workstreams aligned with regulatory Consent Order deliverables, ensuring strict compliance with mandated deadlines and milestones.
- Data Mapping & Gap Analysis: Perform detailed source-to-target data mapping, attribute-level definitions, and transformation-rule analysis for data migration between heritage and target systems.
- Reconciliation & Validation: Define and execute data reconciliation frameworks across legacy systems, staging platforms, and downstream regulatory engines.
- Testing & Defect Management: Develop test strategies, validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) criteria, analyze data discrepancies and root causes during parallel runs, and drive issue resolution.

Project Management & Execution
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multi-phase data migration projects from legacy platforms to modern target applications.




- Governance & Stakeholder Management: Establish project governance frameworks, maintain status reports, and communicate progress, risks, issues, and blockers to senior executive stakeholders and steering committees.
- Schedule & Scope Management: Manage project schedules, milestone tracking, resource allocation, and change-control processes across cross-functional Technology, Business, and Operations teams.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project dependencies, operational blockers, and regulatory compliance risks, and develop robust mitigation and contingency plans.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in Banking and Financial Services, working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or in a dual BA/PM capacity .
- Regulatory Expertise: Robust working knowledge of Capital Markets, banking regulatory reporting requirements, and Consent Order / Regulatory Remediation programs .

Technical & Data Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, and audit checks.
- Deep understanding of data lineage, data dictionaries, metadata management, Data Quality, and Data Governance frameworks .
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project , or similar Agile/Waterfall project management tools.

Preferred Competencies
- Certifications: Project Management, Agile, or Scrum certification is a strong plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and data concepts to non-technical business partners and Audit/Compliance stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and independently resolve technical and procedural blockers.
