Due to strong growth in our business and continued plans for expansion, Floral Express is looking for a new role in the Company, Business Development.

The role of Business Development is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities that support Floral Express’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, understanding market trends, generating qualified leads, and developing strategic partnerships

· Work closely with the sales, operations, and leadership team to expand market presence, increase revenue, and deliver exceptional customer experiences

· Identify new business opportunities and markets

· Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients

· Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and research

· Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals

· Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer-focused solutions

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments

· Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth objectives





· Maintain accurate records of business development activities and customer interactions.

Required Knowledge and Experience

· Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management

· Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets

· Experience in preparing proposals, quotations, contracts, and presentations

· Knowledge of market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning

· Experience within wholesale, retail, logistics, horticulture, or floral industry would be considered an asset

· Proficiency with MS Office Suite

· Strong negotiation, and relationship-building skills

· Ability to identify customer needs and create value-driven solutions

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
