Design structural layouts with 2D CAD and 3D modeling at Fluor Canada, supporting moderately difficult assignments under detailed instructions and review. As an Intermediate Structural Designer, you will provide technical knowledge while supporting the Design Area Lead or Lead. You will apply industry codes, standards, department practices, and procedures while delivering quality technical services.
Prepare moderately complex two-dimensional Computer Aided Design drawings Review vendor equipment documentation for project requirements compliance Accredited two-year technical degree or global equivalent Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads considered an asset Technical knowledge required to complete assigned work Effective communication with management, clients, vendors, and contractors Apply structural design, CAD drawing, documentation review, and technical communication skills while supporting Fluor project delivery.
