Saint Germain Bakery is a busy Asian-style bakery originating from Vancouver. Our pastry chefs incorporate many different styles of buns, breads, cakes and other treats into our daily menu. As a Cake Decorator, you will be primarily responsible for the presentation and quality of our cakes.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about cake making and decorating, and will show skill in the organization and preparation of cake decorating. Preference will be given to those with previous experience and/or cake decorating education and who can speak both Cantonese and English. Must have valid SIN number.

Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities include

- Decorating regular bakery items according to established bakery standards
- Writing signs with chocolate




- Ensuring the utmost freshness and quality of all products; maintaining a FIFO system to keep track of products
- Organizing a full cake display each morning
- Organizing customer orders and handling any specific customer requests
- Keeping station neat and tidy, and cleaning up your station before the end of your shift
- Assisting in the commissary cake dept. as needed
- Assisting other departments when needed
- Communicating with coworkers and management

Job Type: Full time Pay: From $18.00 per hour
