We are currently seeking a Temporary Full-Time Call Taker to join our team, Monday through Friday. This position has the potential to become permanent full-time for the right candidate.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a busy, quick-paced office environment and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

The Position

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Call Taker is responsible for handling incoming customer requests and accurately entering transportation orders into our dispatch system.

This position plays an important role in supporting our dispatch team and ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answer incoming customer calls and respond to email inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Accurately enter transportation orders into the dispatch system.
- Obtain and verify essential shipment information, including pickup and delivery details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
- Provide customers with accurate information and assist with general inquiries.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate will possess:





- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
- The ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure.
- Confidence working in a busy office with constantly changing priorities.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with order-entry software.
- Experience operating multi-line telephone systems.
- A dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.

Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or customer service is considered an asset but is not required. Hours & Employment

- Position: Temporary Full-Time
