Extendicare offers hybrid work.The Capital Asset Manager oversees projects across multiple long-term care homes for Extendicare. This full time position directs scope, design, estimating, tendering, contracts, and reporting. You will provide operational insight while supporting residence maintenance and long-term capital planning.Key Responsibilities:

Manage planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for capital projectsDevelop annual capital budgets, forecasts, and replacement plansCoordinate consultants, contractors, vendors, and third-party engineersMonitor expenditures, approvals, invoices, change orders, and documentationVisit sites to assess conditions,



progress, risks, and maintenance practicesRequirements:

Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or related fieldMinimum five years of relevant project or facilities experienceExperience managing projects from hundreds of thousands to millionsKnowledge of construction, building systems, lifecycle planning, and maintenanceValid driver's licence, reliable transportation, and Manitoba travel availabilityApply project management, asset planning, and stakeholder communication expertise across Extendicare’s Manitoba long-term care portfolio.
