Job Overview

As a Cashier, you’ll process purchases accurately, assist customers, and support smooth day-to-day retail operations. You’ll use POS technology, communicate clearly, and help customers find suitable products through attentive service and relevant recommendations.

Duties

- Process transactions, handle cash, and use POS systems while applying basic math and maintaining accuracy.
- Welcome customers, answer product questions, demonstrate products, and provide helpful service in English; multilingual communication is an asset.
- Support retail sales through appropriate upselling, merchandising, and product recommendations, including technology sales where relevant.
- Manage tasks efficiently, keep the checkout area organized, and use qualified phone etiquette when assisting customers.

Qualifications

Required: Clear communication, customer service, cashiering, cash handling, basic math, POS familiarity, time management, and organizational skills support accurate transactions and helpful customer interactions. Preferred: Retail sales or technical sales experience, product demonstrations, merchandising, and upselling are valuable strengths; bilingual or multilingual abilities can help you serve a broader range of customers.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
