Support residents at Summerland Seniors Village as a casual Health Care Aide with personal care, nutrition, and resident-focused communication.

Reporting to the Clinical Lead, you will perform routine functions supporting holistic quality care in assisted living. Responsibilities include daily living assistance, meals, observations, transfers, activities, and call bell responses. The position requires respectful service that promotes personal and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond promptly and appropriately to resident call bells
- Assist residents with meals and nutritional needs
- Report appetite, fluid intake, and behavioural changes
- Encourage social, physical, spiritual, and recreational participation
- Assist admissions,



transfers, and resident discharges

Requirements:
- Recognized Care Aide Program graduation
- Active registration with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry
- Ability to interact effectively in a resident-focused environment
- Physical ability to lift, squat, bend, stand, and walk
- Freedom from communicable diseases and positive health
