Zip Zap Cleaning Co. is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to lead our team while actively maintaining our high standards in the field.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk-based position. The successful candidate will be expected to perform professional cleaning duties regularly, lead team members on-site, conduct quality audits, train staff in real time, and ensure proper use of all cleaning products, systems, and equipment.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional cleans, has a sharp eye for detail, and can confidently coach others to meet company standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesHands-On Cleaning & Quality Standards

- Perform residential and commercial cleaning duties to company standards on a regular basis
- Lead by example by demonstrating efficient, high-quality cleaning techniques
- Support team members on active job sites and step into cleans whenever needed
- Maintain strong attention to detail in presentation, finishing work, and client-facing spaces

Quality Auditing & Inspections

- Conduct on-site audits and final walkthroughs to ensure Zip Zap Cleaning Co. standards are consistently met
- Identify missed details, inefficiencies, or quality concerns and correct them promptly
- Provide immediate coaching and feedback to improve team performance
- Ensure consistency in execution across all staff and job sites

Training & Product Standards

- Train new and existing team members on cleaning procedures, workflows, and quality expectations
- Demonstrate proper use of cleaning products, dilution ratios, and safety practices
- Train staff on recent equipment, tools, and systems as company standards evolve
- Ensure all team members use equipment safely, effectively, and according to protocol

Team Leadership & Operations

- Supervise and support cleaning staff across multiple Edmonton job sites
- Communicate schedules, priorities, and updates with staff and management
- Monitor supply levels, product usage, and equipment condition




- Travel between job locations as required
- Promote professionalism, accountability, and strong team culture

Client Experience

- Address client questions or concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure clients feel confident in the quality and consistency of service
- Represent Zip Zap Cleaning Co. with professionalism and integrity at all times

Requirements

- Previous professional cleaning experience (residential or commercial)
- Strong working knowledge of high-standard cleaning techniques
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience training or coaching staff strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (required)
- Ability to travel between job sites throughout Edmonton
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to perform physical work daily and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supervising cleaning teams in the field
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, product safety, and equipment maintenance
- Experience performing quality control audits or final inspections
- Scheduling or team coordination experience
- Bilingual communication skills (asset)
