Apex Company is a growing construction and development company specializing in residential and commercial construction projects throughout Ontario.

We are building a team of skilled, dependable construction professionals who take pride in their workmanship, operate efficiently, and are committed to delivering quality projects on schedule.

We are looking for individuals with experience across multiple construction disciplines, as well as those who specialize in a particular trade.

You do not need experience in every category to apply. We welcome both versatile construction workers and experienced specialists.

Areas of Experience

1. Concrete & Foundations

- Concrete formwork, footings, foundations, and slabs-on-grade
- Rebar installation, tying, and reinforcement preparation
- Concrete placement, screeding, finishing, and curing
- Site preparation, grading, and compaction
- Reading and working from engineered drawings

2. Structural Framing

- Residential wood framing, including floors, walls, and roof systems
- Installation of engineered lumber, beams, and trusses
- Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) installation
- Layout, measuring, cutting, and assembly
- Reading construction drawings and framing plans

3. Flooring Installation

- Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring
- Engineered hardwood and laminate flooring
- Ceramic and porcelain tile installation
- Subfloor preparation, levelling, and underlayment
- Accurate layout, cutting, and finishing

4. General & Finish Carpentry

- Interior and exterior door installation
- Window installation and finishing
- Baseboards, trim, and door/window casings
- Interior finishing and general carpentry
- Renovations, repairs, and construction detailing

5. Exterior Construction & Building Envelope

- Exterior siding and cladding installation
- Asphalt shingle and metal roofing installation
- Soffit, fascia, flashing, and exterior trim
- Masonry, stone veneer,



and exterior finishing
- Weather barriers, insulation, and building envelope systems

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in one or more of the construction disciplines listed above
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to interpret measurements, follow drawings, and execute assigned tasks accurately
- Strong understanding of construction practices and job-site safety
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a crew
- Dependable attendance, professional conduct, and strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain workmanship standards while meeting production targets
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 80.0 per week
